AWANA Purpose: To reach boys and girls (3 years through 12th grade) and their families, with the gospel of Christ and train them to serve Him. Also, to give them the opportunity to accept Him as Savior and to encourage our clubbers in living the Christian life and learning to share their faith. It is a fun way to learn God’s truths.
Wednesday evenings 6:30 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. (September through May).
: First Baptist Church offers Sunday School for every age. From Pre-school through High School Seniors, we have the class for your children. Fun and inviting, safe and secure…Bible Stories…Song-time…Crafts. We’ve got it all.
Children's Church at First Baptist Church is where kids discover those special characteristics of God, like: “Jesus hears us”, “Jesus loves us”, “God has a great plan for me”...and many other reasons why God is worthy of our praise. Each week, preschool and elementary children up to the 3rd grade focus on God in a personal way, and experience worship through fun songs and memorable Bible learning.
: Every Summer the church takes children and counselors to Emmanuel Pines Camp in Prescott, AZ to spend four days and nights in the cool pines and immerse everyone in the Word of God. The topic is different every year, yet is geared towards helping the children to grow as disciples of Jesus Christ and learn to Love God, Love Others, and Serve All.
: In June of each and every summer, we at First Baptist Church of Maricopa celebrate a love both from and for Jesus Christ our Savior through Vacation Bible School. You can always count on summer evenings, 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. so as not to have to worry about your daily work schedule. And the fun is for EVERYONE from pre-school to adult.
