Important Update from Leadership To COVID-19

Dear Church Family,

As you may know, the president, the CDC and now our state officials have made recommendations not to meet in groups larger than 10 at this time.  As a church family we are facing a situation that many of us have never experienced in our lifetime. Nevertheless, the leadership have made the decision to cancel the formal services and meetings until further notice.

  • Sunday Morning Bible Study at 9:30
  • Sunday Morning formal services at 10:45
  • Thursday Ladies Bible Study
  • Saturday Morning Men’s bible Study
  • Wednesday Night Awana
  • March 21st Men’s and Women’s Breakfast
  • March 21st Awana Workshop (will be rescheduled)
  • April 4th Grand Prix (will be rescheduled)

We will be updating the website when we have confirmed that services will resume.

The outbreak has raised fear to an extreme level and driven people to uncertainty and anxiety because it takes the control of life out of their hands. We know, however, that everything is under God’s sovereign control and always for His glory and the benefit of His people (Romans 8:28).  For all of us who believe and are part of the family of God, by faith in the Savior, we have an “invisible means of support” , our heavenly Father who care for us in every situation.

He said:
“For this reason I say to you, do not be worried about your life, as to what you will eat or what you will drink; nor for your body, as to what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing? Look at the birds of the air, that they do not sow, nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not worth much more than they? And who of you by being worried can add a single hour to his life? And why are you worried about clothing? Observe how the lilies of the field grow; they do not toil nor do they spin, yet I say to you that not even Solomon in all his glory clothed himself like one of these. But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which is alive today and tomorrow is thrown into the furnace, will He not much more clothe you? You of little faith! Do not worry then, saying, ‘What will we eat?’ or ‘What will we drink?’ or ‘What will we wear for clothing?’ For the Gentiles eagerly seek all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. So do not worry about tomorrow; for tomorrow will care for itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.” – Matthew 6:25-34.

There is so many things that pull us away from our true purpose and that is to give God glory for who he is, take this time to spend with the Father. Share the Gospel with others you may encounter at the grocery store. Allow God’s peace to captivate you and motivate you!
